Our Story 💜
Once upon a soft, golden morning in Cornwall, a little girl named Molèmi sat surrounded by folded blankets, ribbons, and the sweetest scent of cotton. By her side was her dearest friend — a small, fluffy white teddy who never left her side and always carried a spark of adventure.
Together, Molèmi and Teddy loved exploring the gentle world of babywear — soft knits, tiny booties, cosy hats, delicate christening pieces, and ribbons in every shade of love. Every parcel they wrapped carried a little piece of their world: warmth, care, and a tiny hug tucked safely inside.
As the days passed, Molèmi discovered that some of the tiniest babies needed the softest care of all. Her premature babywear soon became one of the most loved parts of Molèmi Babywear — carefully chosen for tiny arrivals, early cuddles, and precious first moments.
Molèmi also began writing their adventures in Molèmi’s Journal, sharing stories about new outfits, seasonal adventures, gift ideas, and the magic behind the pieces they chose for little ones everywhere.
Soon after, they opened Molèmi & Teddy’s Hat Shop, a cosy corner filled with bobble hats, soft knits, and tiny treasures perfect for keeping small heads warm. The Hat Shop quickly became a favourite, loved by families looking for sweet, cosy finishing touches.
Beside it grew the beautiful Molèmi Christening Collection — a special place for elegant outfits, traditional pieces, and timeless styles made for life’s most precious celebrations.
And because Teddy loved a little fun, they also created Molèmi & Teddy’s Toy Shop, filled with soft toys, comforters, and little gifts made for snuggles, smiles, and keepsake moments.
And every night, Molèmi would whisper to her teddy, “Every stitch tells our story.” Together, they dreamed of sharing that story with families everywhere — through beautiful babywear, thoughtful gifts, cosy hats, christening treasures, and bundles of joy sent with love.

The Name Behind the Brand
Molèmi isn't just a name — it's a love story woven into a single word.
It was born from the names of two very special little girls: Mollie and Emilia — Alison's own daughters. Merge them together, and you get something entirely new, entirely unique, and entirely theirs. That's Molèmi.
It's the reason this brand exists. Not as a business idea on a spreadsheet, but as something that grew naturally from family life, from watching two children laugh and grow, and from wanting to create something that truly meant something. Every piece we send out carries a little of that feeling with it.
